First:  Cut the clay, Wedge it, and Throw the Shape of the cup

Second:  After it's dried for a while, trim the excess from the bottom and carve a foot

Third:  Pull a handle and let it dry

fourth: Attach the handle

Fifth:  When it's bone dry, paint with slip and scratch detail

Sixth: Bisque fire it (cooks out all the water)

Seven:  Unload the kiln, Wipe off with Sponge

Eight:  Wax the foot so it doesn't stick

 

Nine: Dunk in Glaze & Dry

Ten:  Wipe any glaze from the bottom of the pot then load the kiln.  Glaze Fire it (clay matures & glaze melts).  Unload the Kiln
